Real World Math - October 20
1. Watch the video links below on an advertising campaign spearheaded by the late Steve Jobs for Apple.

The Futures Channel - Creating an Advertising Campaign (Video) - this video explains the creative process behind the advertising campaign.
2. Your task is to create an advertisement for an original store. Your advertisement will need to include the following:
- using onepagerapp.com create a website for your small business
-come up with ten items that you are advertising
- each item needs to be clearly displayed and identified with a name and price (please keep prices realistic).
- your advertisement will also need to clearly state the name of your store (please come up with a unique name) as well as services, hours, contacts, etc.

Bible 8Y "The Life of Christ" Paragraph Questions
Test Date: June 14
All four questions will appear on the test.
1. Identify three characteristics of leadership that are exemplified in the life of Christ. Explain how these qualities are important to leadership. Provide a real-life example of each.
2. Explain why Jesus performed miracles. What is a miracle? What are the different kinds of miracles that Jesus performed? Do believe miracles still happen today?
3. Explain why Jesus told parables. What is a parable? What are the different kinds of parables that Jesus told? What does Jesus mean when He speaks of people with hardened hearts and blind eyes in understanding parables?
4. Summarize the plot of your modern-day parable. What was the "hidden truth" of your parable?

Comparing the results of the 2008 and 2011 Federal Elections with a Graph

Using the website above, put together a graph using Microsoft Word comparing the results in your riding this year to the results from the 2008 election.
The following details should be included:

3) Accurate data and labeling of graph
4) Choose an appropriate range and distribution for your numbers on the vertical y-axis.
Tip:
The horizontal x-axis will represent the parties, and the vertical y-axis the number of votes.
